Events

We have two dedicated outside spaces that are ideal for events, from smaller weddings and private parties to large-scale weddings.

For weddings and large events we have a flat, well-drained six-acre field, where large marquees can be installed; there is direct access to the site from the main Grindleford-Hathersage road. The large field is bordered by the River Derwent and screened by a mature woodland.

Down from our dining terrace, adjacent to the main  building, we have a grassed area that is ideal for smaller weddings and private events. This is where we have our stylish stretch tent, which has its own bar – exclusively available for the attendees of each event.

This area, accessed down flights of stone steps, is bordered by established hedges and a stream that feeds into the River Derwent.
